I was very interested in TheMentat as I'd hoped it would help me reach more job opportunities and turn into interviews. I'd previously had help on my resume and was curious how this service would approach it. It was disappointing that they stripped it of all my accomplishments and made it into a list of my job descriptions. There was a section on my accomplishments, but as someone who has been in the workforce for 10+ years, it made it look like I was trying to get into a new industry which I'm not. Also they didn't want to put my LinkedIn info on my resume but finally agreed after I pressed them.
I did like some of the suggestions on the cover letter,
I had them apply to some jobs and did get emails saying my applications were accepted, but when I'd login into the company career sites I could never locate my applications and never got an answer from TheMentat as to this issue. They simply asked if I got the email that my application was accepted and that was it.
I think this site as potential for new grads and people who don't have time for a job search. I can't say it's been a great fit for me as I've had better success with my own efforts.
