I placed an order with Home Appliances Plus on 7/4. I rang on 10/4 to try and get my order expedited. After being on hold of almost an hour I was told by a lady in the service dept (located in th Philippines) that it would take 2/3 days to ship. I've been calling pretty much constantly to try and get order. Every time I get the same run around: 1/2 hour on hold with Muzak design to drive you insane followed by a person in the Philippines assuring me it's on its way. On the 21st when I rang I was told it was being picked up by courier and was given a tracking number. Of course the tracking number didn't work because I found out today the following: Home Appliance Plus is just a reseller. They only order the item themselves on 21/4! So all those time I was told 'it's ready for shipping' etc we're just lies. Today I'm told again be patient it could take 24to 48 hours for the tracking number to work. Same old same old. My view is if you order from them you will have two choices: kiss your money goodbye or be prepared to spend hours on the phone/email to annoy them enough to make them send it to you. Either way it's not going to come anytime soon.
Shop around. Deal with a Australian company that has a store front. Don't fall for fake Australian companies based in China or the Philippines that will mean you're at their mercy. In all likelihood you can kiss your money goodbye. 'Home Appliances Plus' I think the plus stands for Scammers
