Had the misfortune of booking a holiday to Bali through Guest Reservations
Price on their site was Australian $1108 for 12 nights
After giving credit card details money was immediately taken At the bottom of page was a summary which stated price was per night
Immediately canceled booking only to find out their terms stated that I would have to have booked the accommodation 2 days prior
Now out of pocket Australian $******* with no booking
Fact Guest Reservation has no affiliation with the hotel (as advised by the Resort)
Fact Hotel never received confirmation
Fact Hotel never received cancellation
Fact Hotel never had availability for the requested dates
Please advise if you have been ripped off by these Texans
Fact no where did it say price was per night
Hi Jim, we are sorry you had this experience. Just like when you book through a hotel directly, Guest Reservations must charge its customers for all applicable taxes, including any hotel taxes. Additionally, by charging a service fee for all of its reservations, we are able to offer 24/7 customer support and operate as an independent travel network. Guest Reservations conspicuously discloses all fees and taxes on its checkout summary webpage, asking customers to check a box acknowledging these before they enter their payment information. Despite our transparency, we remain concerned about your experience. Please provide us your reservation # and the email address used at purchase and we will respond with the next steps. Thank you.
