5 weeks out from my function I sent 'my birthday tutu' a photo of an outfit I wanted made. I was told it would be done in 3 weeks or less... I had to start chasing up my outfit after 4 weeks as I had heard nothing from this company. I was given no information other than It was going to be ready by the party date. I enquired again with same result. It was now 4 days until my daughters 1st birthday, Her party was created around this tutu and the colours in it so I was quite frantic. I asked if I needed to make other arrangements to find a suitable outfit for the day, it was then that this company became quite nasty and hard to deal with. They hadn't even started on my outfit because other people had paid to get rush orders put through because they had left it so late. I was horrified to hear this! I was never given an option to pay more money and I was never informed this is how they run their company. This company also tried to shame me into making me think I was being unreasonable as the maker had also been sick... I am not a heartless person. If I was informed there was a sickness I would have not been so upset but to hear that they were taking rush orders ahead of mine really was unprofessional. But this is not even the worst of it. After arguing all day with the company ranging from my unreasonableness, lack of understanding that they don't carry the fabric I wanted for my outfit and my expectation that the company should have our previous conversations handy so they would know exactly what fabrics and style I wanted for my outfit. I was sent a photo of the outfit that was made for me and had been posted out. Other than the colours, it was nothing like the photo I had originally sent this company. Once again I was made to feel like I was in the wrong as I should not have expected the outfit I had asked for. Anyway I paid for this parcel to be sent back for a refund which this company had said to do. I noted they had received the parcel but they had given me no indication of the refund so I sent them a message to ask them to notify me when the refund was made. Surprise, surprise no answer from them. I ended up sending them another message to say my next step with me consumer affairs. This got them to reply to let me know that the refund had been made and it can take 30 days and not to contact THEM again... This whole experience with this company would have been better if they had been honest upfront and told me they couldn't make my outfit, also communication is a huge factor if things are not going to plan! Let the customer know what's going on! Bad business, bad people!
