I purchased a metal building from Tarheel last year. I paid $8100 for the building. Right from the start their contractors dropped the garage door that I paid extra for to have it painted green. They scratched the door pretty good. I let it go. The door that they dropped was never installed correctly and I have to mop up the water every time it rains. They came out twice to try and fix it but never did get it right. I'm still mopping up water. About six months after the building was put up, the roof started to come apart at the peak. I had to call to have their contractors come back to fix it. They put up some foam to try and close the gap but it didn't work. I was still getting stuff falling from the trees into the garage. Since I've dealt with these same contractors from Tarheel, I decided to hire my own and have Tarheel pay the bill. Bob at Tarheel said to go ahead and submit the bill to them. After my contractor fixed the problem I sent the bill to Tarheel. Waited a few weeks and called. First excuse was boss was out of town. Waited a few mores weeks and called Tarheel and was told I needed to send the bill to their contractor to get reimbursed. I told them I purchased the building from them and the contractor was hired by them and that I felt they should reimburse me. They refused so here I am. Oh and I did finally check their reviews and they are at 2.9 stars. I should have checked before buying from them.
