This is the first time I've been taken in by a fraud website. They look pretty legit, including positive reviews on sites like this one. But they're actually the latest front of a known scammer called "Pharmashop," and they're now operating a FedEx tracking scam.
After I paid, I got a PayPal receipt with the Pharmashop name, which sounded suspicious. At that point, I tried to cancel my order, but when I contacted them they replied with angry, incoherent messages telling me to "be ashamed" and that they would call "the police" to report me. When I flagged this issue to PayPal, the seller sent them a shipping confirmation that included my city's name.
Skeptical, I checked security camera footage, and confirmed there was no delivery. So I called FedEx and learned that the tracking number they sent was not even for a shipment to my address. It was for a random Target.com order, which the seller apparently found online. This is a new type of scam, and it's highly effective because it convinces PayPal that an item has already been sent.
I'm not the only person who has been taken in by this scammer; see attached for a review (from another website) of a customer who had the same experience. You can also find plenty of negative reviews for the seller's actual business name, Pharmashop. After hours on the phone, I'm getting my money back. I'm now trying to spread awareness so other people don't have the same experience. But this site is still operating, so beware!
