Blatant lies. Ordered a pair of glasses the first week of December (2021). After 3 weeks, with no update regarding status or shipping, I sent an email. Response said a quality issue was identified and the glasses had to be returned to factory for repair. I requested the order be cancelled at that point. I received no confirmation to my request after several emails, so called Support and explained my issue. I then received another email stating that if I'd be patient, I'd receive a wonderful pair of glasses. Again, I said no, I'd already ordered with another company, and requested cancellation. Again I received no acknowledging email. Phoned Support again and spoke with the same person. I explained the situation and requested my cancellation be confirmed over the phone. After pulling up my order, my cancellation was confirmed.
A week later, I received an email saying the glasses were complete, and shipping information was pending. The email apologized, stating they unfortunately had not received my request for cancellation, because my emails were apparently blocked by their security filter. Lies. Two chats with Support would attest to that.
Long story short, I opened a dispute with PayPal. Once I did this, I received an email from Optically, apologizing, stating they'd be happy to process a return--- once I mailed back the glasses with tracking and insurance -- on my dime. Glasses I'd not yet received.
From what I gather, although their website purports optically.ca they are local to Canada and have fast shipping, their PayPal address defaults to Australia. My guess is this is where the glasses originate, and this is where they'd want you to return the items.
Stay away.
