I contracted with Direct Flooring & Design Inc. of Castle Rock/Highlands Ranch, which is owned by Bryan McGlassen, to install laminate flooring in the ground floor of my home in Littleton. I chose a style of flooring which Brian McGlassen represented was suitable for this location and, at the suggestion of Brian McGlasson and, paid extra for a thicker membrane of underlayment. I paid for such goods and services and full and, when Brian Glass perform the installation, he failed to properly acclimate the flooring product after delivery and before installation. The floor warped at the seams within a few weeks of being installed. The manufacturer (Shaw Flooring) sent a representative will inspect the defective flooring, and found it to be a total loss due to severe warping because Brian McGlasson failed to properly acclimate the product. A second credential flooring expert also perform testing on-site and confirmed that it warped to the point at which was not usable because Brian McGlasson failed to properly acclimate the product. Brian McGlasson did not disclosed to me at the time that he had lost his Shaw dealership rights due to nonpayment. As a result, Shaw would not warrant McGlasson's work.
