Like thousands of other members I had difficulty getting help with account suspension. I learned that Blake Hall, CEO was on Twitter/X and that that tweeting him was effective. When you do a Twitter search, a legitimate looking ID.ME Support page shows up so I tweeted them as well. When they sent a message using the Twitter messaging system I had a long session with an agent who took me through their legitimate identity verification process. After logging into their system she claimed she was unable to fix the problem and told me to text a number for a 'technical specialist'. During the texting session he stated he charges $200 to fix problems and would accept an Apple Gift card as payment. Since that's illegal, I sent the CEO an email with full details. Today, Kyle Scofield, Sr. VP of Member Services called and informed the the Twitter support page is FAKE and run by criminals trying to extort money from innocent members.
