This site is basically a rip-off of another site that went by the wayside, Goozex. With any fake currency-based system there are bound to be economy problems. This can be seen by Gooz... I mean 99gamer's recent decrease in coin (fake currency) pricing. The pricing used to be $1 = 1 coin but now it is $0.75 = 1 coin. In the past new releases and valuable games were highly inflated in coin value (sometimes 2,3 or 4x the monetary value), I can only expect this to worsen now that the coin (fake currency) is worth even less.
My account had over 100 positive feedback (no negatives) and I have been slowly emptying my coins (fake currency) for the inevitable end. They recently banned my account because I wanted to "trade" games for other games (which is apparently against the rules because they make no money off of it). Check out www.gametz.com instead. They have been around for over 15 years and cost nothing to trade, buy or sell games. Funny enough, any mention of "gametz" is filtered on 99gamers... Guess they're afraid. It'll be hard to be afraid when they're out of business in the very near future.
99gamers is great if you enjoy getting games that are not as described, game purchases ignored or timed out, unprofessionally shipped games by 4 year olds who use the site, admins who are clueless and only out to make a buck, and a rule system from Nazi Germany.
