One point not obvious in prior reviews is this: there are 2 pieces to Picasa... one that runs on your desktop, is free, and is a fine editor. Then there is the web albums piece. Also free. And has all the features 99% of peeps want and need. If you are a "Google Rules" person like me... this is for you

Love the site... one feature Id like to see added is this. If I have already reviewed a site, then the "Review this Site" option should be grayed for me - or say "add to my review". I can't keep track of what sites I have reviewed. Is there a place that shows this? Thanks

B & H is one of the good guys in the photography web world. There are so many bait and switch, added fees, phone call confirmations... that are just bad. These folks offer new, quality products, no fees, no "funny" stuff... good service... good product... buy from them. Example of a bad guy: ajrichard.com

This site deals in refurbs, older style models etc. Before you buy here, take the model number of the product you want and Google it... see what it costs elsewhere, reviews etc. To their credit, Retrevo does offer info about price history, good reviews, bad reviews... so they are very up front about what they are selling... a trait many other websites could learn from.

What can you say about Amazon... it is the gold standard for on-line shopping. Everything about them is superior. Consider becoming a "Prime" member. For $79.95 a year (that's $6.66 a month) - everything you buy (that Amazon fulfills) will be 2 day shipping FREE. With this feature, I don't bother to go out in the 100 degree weather here in Texas to buy something at Target... I order it from Amazon... and its here in 2 days!

I like CNN as a world news provider, however the stories they list on the cnn.com home page look like they are from the National Enquirer. They have dumbed down the news to the point where its not worth my time to wade through what I consider "non-news". The site navigation is a bit cumbersome too.

Fresh content, excellent prices, good visuals. One of the best tech/software sites out there. Love it.

Ive been a member of Flickr for 5+ years. Great site, millions of images. The "community" aspect of Flickr - "friends, followers etc" has eroded a bit over the years - probably due to Facebook. There are several excellent iPad apps that access Flickr to get wallpapers etc.

Love this site... BUT... they've got to get rid of this "watch a youtube video, to get the code to register" - that is insane.

I love Pageonce. I use it on my iPad. You give them logons to your various financial sites. It reads them and aggregates the data anytime you want. What bills are due, total credit owed etc. I've never had any issues, I am comfortable with their security. I think its a the future of money management.

Folks... you need to understand how Quibids and other sites like them actually work. The auction can go on for hours and hours and hours. Only the strong survive, If you stop and do the math and see what Quibids is receiving for the $27 ipad they just sold you and you will see what a money making machine this is for them and what a drain it is on your time and well-being. Stay away... its worse than gambling

Amazon is using Adorama now to fulfill. That says( to me) that this site (adorama) is solid and reliable.

Something has changed with buy.com. 5 years ago it was the best... now... when I look at a product... it is sourced from a different place every other day. One day buy.com fulfills it, next day adorama. There was a coupon offered... good until June 15th. Its June 12 and the coupon is gone. Something is fishy.

Bad Experience - I should have known better. Canon S95 - their price was $20 less than others. I place order online. No action. I call next day - they try to upsell me by telling me the battery that comes with the camera is only good for 30 minutes. That's pure BS and they know it. Then he tells me my total price is xxxx. $35 more than my online order. He explains... handling, insurance etc. At this point I realize their game. I reply "Look at my order. I agreed to pay $379.99" - he says well the total is $402. Xx
I say again... look at my order... and tell me what I agreed to pay? He he - he wouldnt do it. Just said... do you want to cancel your order. I said YES
