Gameflip is a scam website run by a bunch of scammers who keep your money. Visit the forums and count the dozens of topics where people complain about having their seller accounts suspended for "repeated credit card misuse." But this is just an excuse for them to ban people who have over $100 in sales in the accounts, since you can't request a payout while suspended.

Imagine if you sell $200 worth of products on their site, and they suddenly close your account. You just lost that $200. They will keep it suspended indefinitely to get out of any legal issues, and the admins publicly post that they are not "authorized" to lift the suspension.

Also, one person is selling hacked Pokemon. I reported him several times over the past six months, and nobody did anything about it. So I posted in the forums, and moderator DunnBiscuit replied that they would look into the situation. Sevreal months passed, they did nothing, I replied to him. He said it takes them a while to review requests. Then the seller posts in another topic that he can view support tickets, which implies that he is very much involved with the site. I told DunnBiscuit that I'm not going to bother with reporting him again since he can apparently view reports. He replied that the seller isn't involved with the site, but now I'm banned from the forums UNTIL 2044 for spreading "false information."

I have screen shots of all of this. I took pictures of every person who had hundreds in their accounts and can't access it, as well as the respones that they can't do anything for them. They claim it's because the gift cards are fraudulent and have changed their gift card policy to require proof, but there's a person who has literally sold 20,000 gift cards on the site who isn't banned and doesn't show physical proof.

These guys are obviously scam artists who keep people's funds indefinitely while playing favorites with their high grossing sellers (if they are even valid sales). Do not trust them.

Almost always an excellent website, although there needs to be a crackdown on marketplace sellers. Amazon itself is amazing and flawless, but the marketplace is redolent with Chinese counterfeiters and price gougers. The website needs to revert back to the original where you could automatically filter only Amazon products and not have to deal with countless pages of marketplace garbage.

Being a deals website, CAG is run on nothing but user-generated content posted in the forums. The sad part is that the moderators are bigots and will silence and ban people for not being "feminist" or saying the word "guido." It's a real mess when the site is run on content posted by users, yet many users are banned from the website for having opinions. Case in point, they've banned a mentally challenged kid five times already on five different accounts for no apparent reason other than his posts have lots of spelling errors. I have seen numerous people banned from this website for stupid reasons, leading me to believe that David Abrams and the rest of the staffing team are ignorant bigots. I would never give them my ad money or purchase anything using their broken url referrer. Go to Slickdeals, it's sadly a million times better.

Game2gamer.com is a pathetic excuse for a video game website. It offers juvenile, disorganized reviews, mottled with poor spelling and improper grammar and topped off with a general lack of cohesion. Here is an excerpt from a preview on the website:

"We All know this game shall not, and will not let us down! The Prequel in the Halo Series. Reach follows Noble Team and begins the Halo Series. Have we now seen the last in the Halo gaming series or is there more to come? Halo: Reach drops with 3 different choices on picking up the game, There is the standred edition, the collectors edition and the Legendary editon with all the goodies! For the real halo collectors out there, there is also the Halo Xbox System, with a very nice Halo touch to it, and the game itself!"

This is enough to make an eighth grade English teacher cringe. Deplorable.

The marketing ploy the site's owner uses to increase traffic is a random PS3/Xbox 360 code giveaway, wherein users are encouraged to refresh the website every few seconds to get the next code. This would be exciting, but it has been the opinion of several site members that all of the codes were used by the site's webmaster prior to being posted. If this is true, it is an underhanded strategy of getting page hits -- and who would really know, right?

It has also been reported that the webmaster of this site has a history of accepting trade offers from people and receiving their items, but not trading them anything in return. Be warned when you trade with him, because you might just get an e-mail in return which can be paraphrased as, "Sorry, we do not have anything to send back to you at the moment. Please try again later." One could construe this as fraud, if it's true.

Personally speaking, I have had nothing but bad experiences with the website's owner. I attempted to convey to him the frustrations of the community -- which, by the way, only stops by for the aforementioned code giveaway, as the reviews and forums are desolate -- and he blocked me from being able to contact him.

In the digital age, where everything is accessible with the click of a mouse, you need not waste your time with an immature, uninspired website like game2gamer.com. It's nothing but dirt on the information superhighway.
