Bought items from two sellers. Neither shipped. Mercari just lets them cancel; no chance to review seller or warn other buyers. But if you look at the seller profiles they haven't shipped an item in three years. It's just cancellation after cancellation. Mercari looks like a scam to me - just a way to collect your data, take your money, play the float (earning interest while they have your money) then cancel with no penalty to the fraudulent seller. Seems like a scam site, so stay away.

Every message I received from Roommates.com was a scam. Not one was a real person with a real room to rent. Of 12 people who messaged me in the 48 hours I was on the platform, all 12 immediately went inactive. Of those 12, a total of 11 had their messages banned for violations, and the one who wasn't banned went inactive immediately. Not one person who I messaged even read my message, so those seem to be bot accounts with no rooms to rent. Do not join, do not spend money, do not use this site.

So, I know that Whirlpool makes unreliable products, but they have some cool features and when you get a good deal due to a couple scratches and scrapes, its' worth the risk, right? Well, the water dispenser (#1 failed component) went out in warranty, and it would have been a $200+ repair, so I forked over a whopping $384.00 for an extended warranty for 5 years. By the time WP scheduled repair company #1 (who was a no-show and didn't even tell me in advance) and got repair comapny # 2 on the calendar, it will have been a month without a water dispenser. But that's just a lousy warranty program, isn't it, when you have to wait a month, not to mention 4-hour appoinment windows which means an entire day off work. So, think twice about WP and even harder about the exwarranty since it means you'll have take a day off work for the first company, who won't show, and then you have to wait another 2.5 weeks for company # 2 to show up, plus take another day off work. I'd rather go without the dispenser and the warranty, but I'm stuck with both.

We already pay a fee to find caregivers, now when we find one there's more fees for a "trust fee" and a "processing fee" of 6% for credit cards when no card processor charges more than 2.95%? And, we can't search providers on our own anymore, we have to use the providers you select? What's going on?

They sell cards that other people have already hacked into, so your card never works. Then they make you call in and give your information to mail you a new card. They are doing this to harvest information and resell it. They do not comply with CA privacy laws. Total scam.
