I've read several of their articles and found them disappointing. The writer (one of their editors) hyped himself as an expert on the subject, but then presented information that was incomplete, uninformed or, in at least one case, patently false.
Please, if you're going to present an article on a subject, find someone who actually knows and understands that subject, or you're doing your subscribers, and the subject, a disservice.
Tip for consumers:
I haven't used the site for their reviews, since it seems likely their reviews are slanted due to their advertisers and the deals they offer, and since their articles are uniformed, I can't see a reason to return to their site...
Products used:
I read several articles on Laptopmag.com. It is an online magazine that provides reviews on certain products, then offers deals on some of them (so it feels like their reviews are influenced by the companies offering products through their site), and they also feature articles. The problem I found with the articles I read was the lack of knowledge on the topic. For instance, one of their 'trending' articles was titled "Best virtual tabletop software in 2022: How to play D&D and more TTRPGs online." The writer, an editor for Laptopmag.com, provided snippets of information but demonstrated a lack of knowledge on most of the VVT products. In fact, laughably, he included Astral in the article, which was published Aug 1 2022. Note that Astral has widely publicized that they are closing down the end of August.
