After working with Tom for several years, I can safely say that my guitar playing is far beyond where I ever imagined it to be. When I first took lessons with him, I wanted to learn how to play my own solos and improve my technique so I could play like EVH, Vai, Satch, etc. Although I didnt think it was really possible... Tom completely changed the way I viewed my playing and helped me understand where I was going wrong (poor practice techniques, ineffecient playing technique, etc). His lessons provide me with more than enough material to work with (although I never feel like it is TOO much). Any serious guitar player should be studying with Tom Hess!
