  • Choice Hotels

3/19/18

So... I do a ton of traveling across the USA, and obviously, I have stayed in several hotels. One of my favorite places to stay is Comfort Suites. This hotel is one of many hotels under "choice hotels" brand. The 1st time that I ever checked in, at the front desk of this hotel, I was made aware, by the front desk clerk about choice hotels rewards program. This program allows you to sign up for a FREE online account, make hotel reservations online, and earn points on your hotel stay. I signed up online, and immediately racked up 76,000 points in less than 1 year. Choice reward points can be redeemed on getting gift cards, transfered to airline flights, hotel/resort stays and more. To make a long story short, I decided to redeem my points for a New Year's vacation that I took in New Orleans. I booked my room online, about 3 months in advance of my vacation. I paid for my 4 day/3night stay WITH POINTS! Anyone can tell you how expensive hotels can be in New Orleans, especially in the French Quarter. I am so pleased with choosing to stay with Choice Hotels...

  • Megabus

I love riding the Megabus. I think that the prices are extremely affordable, and the quality of service is even better. All of their buses are double-deckers (1st & 2nd floor) that are equipped with free wifi, a very clean restroom, and comfy chairs. I forgot to mention, everytime I ride the Megabus, I always pay a small extra fee for a reserved seat. Reserved seats are located at the very front (best view) of the 2nd floor of the bus, and reserved seats at a table (bottom level). Absolutely no one is allowed to sit in your reserved seat(s), and the bus driver checks to make sure that reserved seats, and bus tickets correspond to each other. Other than that you can still pay for general seating, which is on a 1st come, 1st served basis. You're allowed only one luggage bag (under 50 lbs.) In the luggage area, and 1 small carry on bag. Any bag, or multiple bags that load this bus are subject to extra fees. You can either print out or present a digital eTicket on your phone to load this bus. Buy your tickets either on their website, or in person at one of their listed ticket counters.

I recently went to a CVS store, and was shopping for a few travel items for my upcoming trip. It had been a very long time since I bought any kind of oral rinse, (NO, MY BREATH DOESN'T STINK) so just before I grabbed a Listerine mouth wash, some other item caught my attention. I saw a travel size bottle of, "TheraBreath Fresh Breath Oral Rinse," in a lime green bottle, with an orange cap. When I picked up the item, I read a few highlights on the bottle that mentioned something along the lines of, "fresh breath for up to 12 hours." My curiousity caused me to toss this item in my shopping cart.
NOW FOR THE TEST: I tried using this oral rinse for the 1st time, right after brushing my beautiful teeth. I used about 1 cap full.
PROS: Not at all of an overwhelming minty taste (that burns your tongue)
This product is true to it's word, when it mentions fresh long lasting breathe
The ingredients include peppermint oil, purified water, and some sort of castor oil (please google the ingredients for yourself)

I'm definitely going to buy the largest sized bottle that's available online or in stores. The larger bottles can go as high as $18, but isn't your health and well being worth the investment!?

This review isn't based on my experience at a particular KFC restaurant; it's only my personal opinion on their chicken pot pie.

Over this past summer, i walked into a KFC restaurant, with the intentions of ordering a cost efficient meal to fill my almost empty stomach. I looked at the restaurant menu, and noticed a sign that read in bold letters, "$5 FILL UP." I thought, "sold, to me, the frugal bidder." At that time, i wanted to get something that i hadn't had in a long time... a chicken pot pie. This $5 fill up meal xame with 1 drink, 1 chocolate chip cookie, and of course 1 chicken pot pie. I decided to dine in. When i sat at my table i opened my bag and it had a box inside of it. I opened my fill up box, and inside was the most beautiful pot pie that i layed my eyes on. It was large in size and had a perfect golden top layer crust. I took my plastic spoon/fork, spork, and dug right in the center of my pot pie. The tender juicy chicken, carrots, peas, along with the flacky top crust melted in my mouth, as i chewed and swallowed the deliciousness of this blessed pot pie. As of now i suffer from a KFC chicken pot pie addiction. I LOVE THIS FREAKING PIE. GO BUY IT AND TRY IT!

  • Dollar Tree

Here's my review on the Dollar Tree.
In my opinion, i believe that the dollar tree is a great place for people who are single/couples with no children to buy some of their food products. No, I'm not saying that families or couples with children can't benefit from buying food products here, I'm speaking about the benefits of single individuals or couples shopping for some of their groceries at the Dollar Tree. For example, depending on which Dollar Tree location that you visit, some stores sell raw chicken wings/drum sticks or you may have noticed that most of their food is sold in a small quantity (ounces/serving size). This benefits single individuals/couples beause they don't have to worry about buying food in larger quantities because their only eatting for a serving of 1 or 2 people. The food selection for singles and couples with no children is like the complete opposite of them shopping at a place like Sam's club. I believe this also helps them to cut down on wasting food, and of course the everything in the Dollar Tree is affordable.

I recently booked a hotel room, through this site, and i landed at room (downtown San Antonio, TX) for 4 nights/5 days for $38 per night (including taxes-subtotal less than $200).
It's important to review your reservations, no matter what website you book through, to make sure that your check in and out date are correct.
Secondly, with this site, after you officially book your room (s), it's important to call the hotel that you'll be staying with, the very next day, to confirm your reservations, AND any special room request.
Lastly, you MUST PRINT OUT YOUR RESERVATION, THAT THIS SITE EMAILED TO YOU AND PRESENT THE PRINTOUT TO THE HOTEL. People it's not rocket science, read and follow instructions before trying to call this company a scam.
