I was happy with this company and the way that they worked with customers I purchased My Car in October of 2022 from CarMax with a $7,000 down payment. I paid all of the down payment minus $800. CarMax bought back my loan and American Credit Acceptance did nothing to help me. My account was not behind at all, However CarMax was able to buy my loan back with no notice. I was told by ACA that I was fine that they are the holders of the title. If I purchased my car and ACA are the holders of the title How in the world did I loose everything.? My car my down payment everything. Then be told that the money I paid in will go towards my account what account?
I believe I should have been given the option to pay the $800 and any fees to get my vehicle back. This made ACA look bad as well as CarMax it looks like a scam because the only offer I was given was to pay the entire loan of $21,000
