Yesterday I went to the harbor freight in Marshall MN to buy a few items. The cashier said I couldn't check out (using a valid debit card) without giving a name & phone #. I am not interested in a close personal relationship with HF or any of their employees. They do not need that information for purchases under $10 on a card which can be verified online in a matter of seconds. THIS IS JUST PLAIN CREEPY. ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IS THAT THE PURCHASE WENT THROUGH WITH MY BANK. ANY PERSONAL INFO IS NOT YOUR BUSINESS.
