I have been to the sands maybe 6 times in the last year. This last time was the last time. And my friends and family will not be going there either, ever. I arrived 1 day early before wedding party got there and my family. I went into the bar and immediately when i got there a bartender named Armondo(short little midget of a guy, i think he is latino) got on the phone and called a guy who had been stalking me from a few years ago when i lived there. I heard him talking and lo and behold that stalker guy showed up. Armondo yelled at me in front of the whole bar, "GO TALK TO HIM" at me. This was the fourth time this happened. That stalker guy would show up after that Armondo bartender would call him and yell at me TO GO TALK TO HIM. I was wondering how he thought he could get away with that and keep his job. I filed a complaint with security and they did nothing. I was told to leave. Now i know how he can get away with that. Needless to say i cancelled the week reservation i had and cancelled the whole wedding parties reservation and went elsewhere. I talked to some of the other employees and i was told that this Armondo bartender does this to the single woman who come in there to get his scuzzbag friends set up and if the woman don't comply they get thrown out. Gladly leaving. It is a scuzzhole and they are allowing that bartender to solicit the single guests to his friends without their consent and thrown them out if they dont comply... That just wreaks with illegal. The other employees also said their was an outbreak of bed bugs in the hotel and they also found a huge amount of bed bugs in the bars. They said they were actually clinging to clothes on the customers at the bar. They said they noticed there was a huge number of bedbug infestation at Armondo's bar indicating that he may have something to do with that.
