This is the most non-intuitive, confusing enrollment process I've ever been through. The most confusing part is trying to determine if your existing physicians are in the health plan's network before you choose a plan. The provider directories are not up to date. My doctor is not in the Covered CA database, nor the health plan database, but when I call the health plan and the doctor's office, they confirm that they are included in the insurance plan's network. Are you supposed to trust that? When it's not in the online database? Also, if you need to make changes to your information in Covered CA, it is so confusing about what to click; the labels they have for things make no sense to normal people, so you don't know what to choose. The site was developed using jargon and gobbledegook that only makes sense to people in the insurance industry. I keep wishing I would get older faster so I could just get on Medicare and be done with all this complete nonsense.
