My son signed up for a trial account and deactivated his account before the trial was up but he still got charged for TWO months! When inquiring we found out that Shopify created a "fake" storefront on his behalf that he never even named, used, or had any products in. They refunded one month but refused to refund the other month because it was against their terms of service to provide refunds. There's no way to delete your credit card information once you put it in there, there's no business address listed anywhere, customer service is a joke they have no number you can only talk to somebody through chat. I would give zero stars if I could. There are numerous other people on the forums that complain about the same thing.
