What makes this site really good in my eyes isn't the really great google search algorithm, but rather the apps which you get in having an account. (Its automatically a youtube and blogger account)... but I have a website and their analytics tools and webmaster applications are wonderful. You get great readouts and graphs of your website. They also the adwords and adsense applications seamlessly into your account page for easy access.

I use this website as a checkout for a website and I have a couple credit cards from them.

Firstly: I used paypal a lot so I decided to get their credit card (a wayy while back). (mind you, I have 0 credit) I was easily accepted for their card and had a limit of a whopping $2,000. This is where things go bad though. My first 2 payments were late, not because I didn't pay on time but because they put my payments on hold... for 2 weeks the first time and almost 2 weeks the second month. I called and had to argue with them to release my payment. It was awesome going to a fancy restaurant and having my card declined. Glad I brought cash.

Pros: Everybody uses paypal. Its very easy to use. Simple if you are selling things, and selling fees aren't bad.

Cons: HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SUPPORT! They are sooooooo bad. Can't understand them, and often you have to go through some crazy negotiation to get things done.!?!?!? Credit Card system is really messed up.

Extremely straight forward simple website. So A+ on simplicity. I got my daughter a PC from here. They have discounts with proof of your kids being students which is nice. Would be good if you excepted more payment option though, because i know some people don't like paypal too much.

I used this website in building my PC. They are hit and miss with their prices, but do have a very large selection, and categorize their merch really well which makes it easy to find what you looking for.

Their barebone kits are also very helpful to get you started.

EBay gets a Meh from the seller side, but heart from the buyer side... Fees then fees then more fees.

For selling:
Pros: Tons of buyers use eBay, and the messaging system is very helpful and useful.
Cons: Fee to list your item, Fee when you sell your item, then another fee from your profits when you receive payment on paypal. Selling high priced items have entirely too high of fees. To sell a camcorder, I had to pay over $70 in fees + paypal fees.

Buying: Tons of sellers mean that they fight for lowest prices. Very possible to get really good deals in auctions.
Cons: A LOT of Chinese knockoffs make it hard to find authentic items especially on clothing and sports merchandise.

I've bought from them many times. They are really good. I had one dead power supply, but they accepted the return and sent a new one. Good, quick service. They also send you free stuff with certain products you buy. Highly recommend.

Bait and Switch... So, I love how they tell you that you can get a Ford mustang for $45, but not that you pay $45 for your winning bid + the 20,000 bids which cost 60 cents each. You CAN get a deal on this website, but its impossible to know how much you will have to spend on an item since you pay for every bids and there can easily be hundreds and thousands of bids per item. In the end you can end up paying more for the item due to the bid system. Not worth the risk.

Okay okay. So there are a lot of bad reviews, but I will tell you what. If you are looking for wholesale, they aren't TERRIBLE. I've done plenty of business there are there are tons of reviews for each seller. ONLY pick the sellers which have 98%+ good reviews. I was sent 6 less units than i order from one seller but he promptly sent me the 6 on my next order. In conclusion: the bad sellers are really bad, the good sellers are really good.

Pros: Plenty of good information and content which helped me decide what computer I wanted. Product exactly as described and I got a free bonus blue-ray drive as a gift which was nice. I didn't talk to support people, but there seems to be plenty of support with the live chat.

Cons: Annoying live support chat invitation popped up like 3 times...
