The first time I dealt with Tungsten Fashions pre 2016 was honestly an exemplary experience, the item purchased (LOTR - The One Ring replica) was good quality and it was received quickly, however, the Gold on the ring (that supposedly never fades) faded, I contacted Tungsten Fashions, they immediately exclaimed their surprise as they shouldn't fade and offered to swap the ring which I declined because it was an engagement ring and I didnt want to be without it, the ring wasn't expensive so I chalked it up to a one off experience and I ordered another, which also promptly arrived. Less than 2 years later I changed size significantly and ordered the same ring but in the smaller size, it took a little longer to arrive this time (a number of weeks longer) - I put this down to postal delays etc. But again the ring arrived. It looked great, nice luscious gold colour, free flowing elvish script that flowed continuously around both sides of the band... I was a happy camper. Then 2 years later again the gold started to fade (hmmm not a one off it seems) I contacted Tungsten Fashions and again they expressed their surprise and offered to replate the ring, again being an engagement ring I did not want to be without so I decided to buy another ring and when this arrived, I would send the faulty ring back to be replated... This is now beginning October 2023. I didn't receive the ring until mid November and when I got the ring it was not as the pictures, it was not as per the previous rings, the elvish text now had 2 gaps on either side of the band inside and outside of 5mm and looked cheap and tacky. I contacted Tungsten the same day I received this and they said the ring is sourced from the same factory as always the design should not have changed... I sent photos, videos etc of the ring clearly showing the faulty design and from that point the communication from Tungsten was getting steadily worse, it was already becoming not great, but to the point that emails were being ignored often for weeks at a time or until chased multiple times or requests of wanting refund etc, upon which I am now told "oh we source from multiple factories, the design may be slightly different... We can swap the ring etc". I sent the ring back (cost almost half of the cost of the ring to send back), I can see this was signed for and it wasn't until a few weeks later this was acknowledged... "Oh yes we have sent your replacement ring" was advised... 6 weeks later I am still chasing and getting different stories from different people. No tracking number was ever provided for the replacement ring so I can only assume that this was not truly sent. I ask for my refund as after 5 months and still not having my ring I have had enough, and even more so with the horrendous customer support and constant changing narrative. 10 days after I am told my refund will come... I end up having to claim via PayPal.

Long story short, if you want a ring from these guys, buy a plain one or one that isn't laser etched, avoid anything that isn't natural tungsten colour or near to it. If you do, prepare for the possibility of some of the worst customer experiences you will ever have! I for one have no desire to spent one more minute of my life on this company!

(oh and I have kept all the photos and email chains with this company if they ever try to rescind this fact!)
