Sorry BCBSM, you are the worst. When Walgreens is out of my thyroid medication, (which I have to take every day or die) chose to use CVS - since they had plenty in stock. Guess what fans, no other pharmacy in the world can DELIVER your medication other than Walgreens or "Express Scrips". How's that for treating our seniors with respect and dignity. I waited OVER A WEEK for my medication from Walgreens. Only when "I" called to find out where my medication is, did I find out it's on backorder and they don't know when it will be in. Of course, they didn't have the decency to call me and let me know the medication I urgently need isn't available (except for 12 pills). I am at a loss as to why BCBSM didn't let me know about meds only delivered by Walgreens or Express Scrips. I had to find out from CVS that BCBSM has some contract with Walgreens that no other pharmacy can have meds delivered - no exceptions! So, here I am, no meds, no way to get the meds from CVS, and am scrambling to get a ride to the pharmacy. What is going on with the thought process of BCBSM? Next thing you know, you can only get meds on a certain day of the week or only if it is raining or snowing. Lord take me now cause there's no intelligent life here any more! Also, I have had the unpleasant experience with Express Scrips in the past. They're also the worst. Can't get anything right and I ended up with meds I had to take to get destroyed. What a hassle and waste of money.
Good luck with BSBSM. I'm out and done with them.
