I was about halfway through a root canal with Dr. Hunter on Thursday, when his phone rang and he told me he needed to take the call. I had a dental dam in my mouth and his assistant sat me up while he took the call. When he returned about five minutes later he explained that his broker was in a panic over what to do regarding the market downturn and that is why Dr. Hunter needed to take the call. I didn't say anything at the time, mostly because I wanted to get things over with, but I wish I had told him that his call probably could have waited until after my procedure was completed.
