I joined Quotev a little over a year ago and had been posting stories on it. The people on Quotev are really supportive of your writing, even if it isn't that great. I know this because I was in 8th grade with autism so my grammar sucked. But I like how people overlooked this and saw the creativity in it since I spent a lot of time working on this.
Of course, I also agree with some accounts being disabled from the updates. And I've seen a couple hater girls that rant onto me because they have the 'worst life ever'. And when I try to help them, they're like 'No, I'm good'. I've gotten over it, but it is still a little annoying. And all of it was simply because I said they have a good life. Shouldn't they be proud of that? Like, if they don't want to get help for their problems, then I'd just let them go. Who am I to control their life. But understand that I won't have sympathy for them. If they have a problem and they know it, they know how to help themselves and make their life better, yet they won't get help, then that's just being a little ridiculous.
Sorry this review has been a rant itself. But I'd still say that other than the disabling of accounts, the rest of the problems are user's faults, not the website itself. Overall, Quotev is a supportive website for beginner writers. I'd actually choose Quotev over Wattpad at this point as a writer.
