After deleting and completely clearing my mailing list of 1800 (maximum allowed is 2500) I re-entered the new list, also of around 1800. This triggered an automatic notification that I had exceeded the limit allowed by my subscription. Every complaint to the service desk resulted in automated response, followed by an automated follow-up asking "how was our service" responding "unsatisfactory" that message simply triggered another automated response, followed – you've guessed it – by an automated "how was our service?" message. When despite everything an invoice then followed for the non-existent additional addresses I lost patience and cancelled my bank direct debit. This led to a pathetic message saying that it was for my security that they do not respond to any address other than the one used to set up the account (which in this case was a marketing company acting on my behalf). One of the worst examples of pigheaded adherence to self imposed rules that I've come across. I have just signed up with Sendinblue, ticks all the same boxes and is actually cheaper. My first contact with customer service resulted in a telephone call from their Paris headquarters, and dealt with the query perfectly
