I purchased a designer bag with an additional 25% off. I got confirmation about the order but nothing after that. When I inquired with their Customer Service, I was told my order was cancelled. They were out of that item and said we are sorry. I asked if they can honor the same discount for another bag. They said no, but we can honor the additional sale discount if it qualifies. I wanted to use it but the designer sale was over. So I went back and asked for a coupon to be used at a later date. Again cookie cutter statements about how sorry they are. The last e-mail I received even stated that they have confirmed that an e-mail cancellation was sent. I didn't receive any e-mails from them after the purchase confirmation. Poor customer service that tarnishes any reputation Barneys may have.
