V123 punishes talent that can't afford the higher, exorbitantly priced subscriptions. The copious, cream of the crop auditions are showered upon them. The offerings get less and less the lower down the financial totem pole you are. Auditions should be accessible to all voice talent. The "other", arguably more popular and professional big name P2P site is fantastic with one yearly fee and tons of listings daily. Everyone has a fair shot. Never any bugs with their site either. V123 will often crash when I'm in the middle of update my profile info or samples. It also has a bad habit of sending me laughable matches which often are not even in the correct gender or language! The few times I have contacted the help line (after fighting with the bot), I get a response that makes almost no sense and skirts over my issue. Did they even read my concern? I could kick myself for subscribing for another year (I'm in the mid-range subscription.) The jobs that are right for me are few and far between, but the 5 to 10 or so jobs I do land per year are good ones. Is it worth it? I'm not so sure. I find plenty of voice work on my own without paying to audition. I think this might be my last year with V123. It just always seems to be more trouble than its worth. My money is better spent on education or equipment.
