In August, 2022, I made an online purchase from Modern Wish of one item, for which I paid the advertised total price of $26.94. I recently discovered that this business has also charged my credit card $29.97 every month since then (18 payments). I called this company (Phone # *******124) and was told that when I made this purchase, I was automatically signed up for a "subscription" because I "did not uncheck a particular box" on their web site. This is a scam! No such information about a "subscription" was clearly posted on the web site. Even if it was, I would not (and did not) agree to this monthly charge.
