I would just like to say your technicians are extremely patient and helpful. I only signed up yesterday and Jason Giggs was so helpful, but as I had to go out I had to phone back today, and David helped me to set up 'Skype' and update Adobe Flash, and how to access instructions to use 'Power-point'. I really appreciate their expertise.

Like many others, I used to take my computer for granted. I never gave it a second thought, until it decided to slow down and freeze at random intervals which were usually followed by a blue screen error. Since my computer contained many irreplaceable files and documents, I was extremely worried that I may lose them all. But thanks to iTechAcharya, my computer is now working as though it's brand new.

Now, I'm no computer guru. Fixing computers is as alien a concept to me as performing brain surgery. So when I first encountered these issues, my initial reaction was of panic, followed by helplessness. I couldn't take my computer to a service center because there were none nearby and I did not want to call a repair technician to my home because of a bad experience I had with them earlier. So I contacted a friend of mine and asked him to have a look at it. Alas, he was as stumped as me. So we both decided to look for help online. We came across iTechAcharya.co.uk, but we decided to give the online forums a try before going for professional tech support. After a while, we learned that there could be a number of reasons as to why we were facing these issues, this knowledge did nothing more than add to our frustrations. After about 3-4 hours, we finally pinpointed what we thought was the problem. But the guide to fix it was incomprehensible to us. Neither my friend nor I knew what certain terms meant. Finally our frustrations boiled over and we reopened iTechAcharya.co.uk and dialed the number they had given.

Upon making the call, I was greeted by a man who introduced himself as Ryan. He then asked me (very politely I may add) what exactly was the issue I was facing. After I explained to him my situation, it occurred to me that I still had no idea why I was getting blue screen errors. Thankfully, Ryan didn't ask me too many details, all he asked for was to remotely connect to my computer so that he could diagnose the problem and find out the exact cause of the hang-ups and errors.

After he connected to my computer, he gave my PC a complete health check-up (for free) and pointed out to me what was wrong. Ryan then told me that he would be able to not just fix these issues, but also speed up my computer for a small fee. Although I was a little apprehensive at the start, I figured that I'd rather pay a couple of pounds now and be at peace knowing that my documents and files are safe. I opted for their ‘Platinum Plan' that covered my other computers as well along with my printers.

After I had selected my plan, Ryan began to fix my PC. He was kind enough to let me know that it may take some time and that I could hang up if so wished. I didn't want to do so as I feared that cutting my call may somehow disconnect the connection that he had established with my computer. While he assured me that the connection established iTechAcharya's PC and my computer wouldn't break, I insisted on staying on the line. So while he was fixing my computer, I put my phone on speaker and made a cup of tea of myself.

I would like to take this opportunity to doff my hat to the marvelous remote access technology used by iTechAcharya. While it did unnerve me a bit in the beginning, I was pleased to see that Ryan was able to update drivers, fix corrupted files, and do many other things that I couldn't possibly do by myself.

After Ryan had done all that he had to do to fix my computer, he disconnected the remote access connection and asked me if the computer was working normally or not. I used the PC for a while and lo and behold! Not only had the freezing and blue screen errors vanished, my computer was noticeably faster as well. When I asked him what all he did to make all this possible, he started to list off a number of things that didn't make any sense to a guy like me. It could have been magic for all I know, all I cared about was that my computer was working normally again.
