Stay away from them. I was affiliated with them and they figured out a scammy way to NOT pay up my commissions.
Basically, as soon as I filed a request to withdraw my commissions, I start receiving emails stating that the sales generated by me (as an affiliated) were fraudulent. More specifically I received 34 emails that were saying that my commission was removed due to a fraudulent transaction.
I contacted them and they said that these transactions were marked as fraud by their system. So convenient. When an affiliate requests for withdrawal, we mark his/her commissions as fraudulent so he/she will not be eligible for a payment request.
What this has to do with you, as a consumer you might think?
Well, if they are scamming their affiliates what is stopping them to not treat you the same as a customer?
This website is been up and running for a couple of years but I never had the chance to share my experience with them. First of all, they are the only ones who talk truth in their articles. If an article is sponsored, you'll see a sponsored tag somewhere. Anyway, they have top notch communication and in there you'll get so much great information about the ptc world. I highly recommend it.
Freelancer is one of the worst freelancing companies I have ever worked with as an employer. I am spending a lot of money outsourcing projects and I thought I could try outsource some tasks on Freelancer too.
Bad Idea.
Freelancer is full of hidden fees and they charge you $2 here and $2 there.
One of the freelancers failed to deliver the task I've assigned to him. Freelancer.com wanted me to actually pay them a small amount of money to resolve this issue. Note that the task cost was $25. I gave $10 upfront and Freelancer.com charged me another $3 as a fee for the job(!?) WTF?
In total I was charged $13 and my task is not completed yet.
I contact freelancer.com about this, but, nothing.
They are not answering my messages
Stay away from them..
Tip for consumers:
Test other outsourcing website like fiverr.com or elance.com instead of freelancer.com
