I’m sorry to hear that you think Import Genius is a sneaky company. We pride ourselves on delivering top customer service to our clients so to hear you are displeased with our service is disheartening.
When you signed up for our service in January, you signed up for the account online which states the Plus plan is $199 per month. The terms of service, which you agreed to, confirms the account is a subscription that is billed monthly and you must contact us to cancel the account and stop recurring billing. Prior to signing up, you spoke to multiple representatives, saw several demonstrations, and received emails confirming the details of our plans including the subscription terms – all of which state that we offer month to month plans. I’m not sure where the confusion was but not once did we state that it was a “one month only” account. We do not offer one month only accounts. We are a subscription based service.
You had used the account in January, February, and March. When you contacted us in April requesting to cancel the account we happily assisted you with the closure of the account. We also promptly refunded the April payment as a courtesy since you had not used your account during that billing period. We feel that this is a very fair assessment of the situation, as it seemed clear that you understood the account is a monthly service from the usage over 3 months.
