Automatic renewal is concealed, no notice given, and no receipt provided. Unacceptable for a $299 billing.

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed by your experience. The order page explains that your subscription will automatically renew at the then current price. Additionally, you can find your renewal date on your account page.

Upon purchase of any one subscription, the automatic renewal feature is turned on. Your subscription will automatically renew at the then-current rate until you notify us of your decision to terminate your membership. For subscription terms greater than three months, we will email you about the length and price of your renewal before we charge you. The terms and conditions set the boundaries and nature of our relationship; these were agreed to at the time of purchase.

I believe I was able to find your account - if your service renewed on June 3,2023, you received a copy of your receipt (Subject line: Your receipt from The Motley Fool) on June 3,2023. Your renewal notices were sent on the following dates:
Mon May 15,2023 Action Required! A quick reminder about your renewal
Wed Apr 19,2023 Action Required: Claim your renewal discount today!

These emails explained that your Rule Breakers membership was set to renew for one year at $299. They also said that if you do not take advantage of the early renewal discount, your subscription will automatically renew. Unfortunately, as you are far outside of the 30-day, money-back guarantee, we are unable to issue a refund.

If you have any other questions, need assistance navigating our website, or would like to share additional feedback, please reach out to our Member Services department - we're happy to help! You can reach our representatives via the Help tab on Fool.com or by email - Help@Fool.com
