I posted a scathing review of Yes Video for being complicit in my VHS tapes that I shipped to them disappearing. Although I'm still somewhat displeased with the way all parties involved conducted themselves when my videos disappeared and all the finger pointing that went on, the mystery eventually was solved.
Months after my VHS tapes disappeared and months after I tried desperately to get them back, I received a call from a dentist's office (not my dentist) located in the same parking lot as the Walmart where I dropped my VHS tapes off months before. A woman there informed me that she had a package at their office that had been there for months. It was dropped off by UPS by mistake. The office finally opened up the package and found my information inside and called me immediately upon seeing the contents. I rushed over and retrieved my lost tapes! The mystery was solved. Walmart didn't lose my tapes. They did what they were supposed to do. Yes Video didn't lose my tapes, they never made it that far. UPS mistakenly dropped off a package they had just picked up across the parking lot minutes before. This was a mistake made by UPS, NOT Yes Video.

Tip for consumers:
If you are choosing to send media to Yes Video, I HIGHLY SUGGEST not dropping at a drop location. Instead, ship the package yourself from a trusted shipper and get a zillion dollars in insurance just in case said shipping company loses your valued memories.

I created a VHS to digital order with YesVideo. They directed me to drop off my VHS tapes (20 of them) at a Walmart photo center. YesVideo claims they never received the box. I reached out to YesVideo and they placed the blame on Walmart and blew me off with this email:
[Dear Phillip, Thank you for contacting YesVideo, we appreciate your inquiry.
Unfortunately, as of today, your order has not been shipped to our facility. I suggest requesting to speak with management to locate your order and a UPS tracking # attached for shipment. I hope to have fully addressed your concerns. If you have any additional questions, you can also visit our website at dvdwalmart.com. No Mikko, my concerns weren't addressed in the least bit. I inquired three times with Walmart and each time I was told someone will call me. No one ever called. Between Walmart and YesVideo, they just lost 18 years of my life that I will never get back. Shame on YesVideo and Walmart. Inexcusable.

Tip for consumers:
I wish I knew exactly who is at fault for losing my cherished VHS tapes. Ultimately, I placed the order with YesVideo and did what they told me to do. They are complicit even if Walmart is the ones that lost the video. Regardless, if you choose to do business with this company, definitely bypass Walmart. But again, I have no proof that Walmart lost the videos either. It could have been a shipping company, or it could have been YesVideo in their own facility. I'll probably never know the truth.

I purchased a refrigerator on 9/10/2014. The next day, I received a call from Fumfie and was upsold express shipping. I was promised the fridge September 21-25. Come September 26th, I still hadn't received nor heard anything. I called them a week later, and they informed me the fridge hadn't shipped yet, that they were having problems with their vendor, but that the fridge "should" ship by the end of that week. The following week I had heard and received nothing, nor any communication. I called the following week and was told the order would "definitely" ship out within a week. A week came and went. I called them to give them a final chance to ship my order, but they didn't answer. They take many Jewish holidays off. I emailed them and told them if my order wasn't on its way to me by October 24th, to cancel my order. The date came and went, and I received no communication from Fumfie. I then called Fumfie the first week of November and they didn't answer, so I left a message telling them to cancel my order and refund me my money. They have done neither and haven't communicated with me for over a month. I was forced to file a claim with my credit card company to dispute the charges.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY APPLIANCES FROM THIS COMPANY. I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY GOOD REVIEWS OF PEOPLE WHO'VE PURCHASED REFRIGERATORS OR MICROWAVES AND ACTUALLY RECEIVED THE PRODUCT. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!
