I had to use this website for Freshman year and this year, my Junior year. I feel I was a little too nice in my original review, so I'm revising it. Let's start off with the biggest problem: Everything is *way* too slow. The instructors and their monotone, lifeless voices are so abysmally slow and they don't get to the point. They comment on everything that happens; when you get answers wrong, they give you a church sermon on how to do the problem correctly. Even when you get questions right, they'll regurgitate the same piece of information. Why aren't we allowed to skip the instruction and warm-up pages? The instruction pages are so long and don't impact your grade at all, so what's the point of it? The instruction part can be so unnecessarily long, totaling up to 20 activities (including long videos). What the they thinking? This bad pacing doesn't help, especially when you're being bombarded with assignment after assignment. You can easily fall behind just because of this. When you have a lot of assignments like this, getting to the point with concise instructions is detrimental. I strongly recommend you search for other learning programs if you're shifting to online schooling. This website is the epitome of "we don't know what we're doing and we don't care". The website itself was originally a pain to navigate through, and it still somewhat is, even though it's had some sort of a re-design, the assignment interface is largely the same: Slow.
I honestly don't know who to feel worse for in this situation. The summer school students who are being rushed like hell to complete everything in 4 weeks? Or the kids who signed up to do this for the entire year? If it wasn't a pain already, this year, we now have Google Classroom integrated to keep up with all of our assignments. Why does everything have to be so convoluted for no reason nowadays?
Overall, stay away from this program at all costs, whether you're a parent picking out an online school for your kid, an instructor, or literally anyone on the planet. You can tell that there was no actual effort put into any aspect of the website, so just save yourself the effort and look up all the answers on Brainly. Yeah, that's right. They never bother to change the questions each year, so you can just look them up. Jonathan Grayer, I hope you burn in hell.
