Online quote was if you order over £250 and we receive fund before 2 pm, you will be qualified for next day insured delivery, and it will be delivered by UPS. What a beautiful lie. I especially went over £250 spend so I can get my item next day. Paid and email received at around 1330hrs saying you have received the fund. I was happy and excited cos it was Birthday gift for my wife after next day. Guess what? It arrived after 7 days and It was sent via Royal Mail not UPS. Well done BBP, you gonna say it was back locked because of holiday. Then be honest saying it will arrive after seven days not NEXT DAY INSURED DELIVERY BY UPS.
Never again.
First and foremost, we apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment you experienced with your recent order from BullionByPost. We understand how important timely delivery is, especially when an item is intended as a special gift like a birthday present for your wife.
We aim to be transparent and accurate with our delivery estimates and it's clear that we fell short in this instance. The delay you experienced is not typical of our service standards. While we do occasionally face unexpected delays due to high demand, especially around holidays, it is our responsibility to communicate these potential delays to our customers effectively. We regret that we did not meet this standard in your case.
Regarding the change from UPS to Royal Mail for delivery, this should not have occurred without clear communication and your consent. We will investigate why this change was made and ensure that our communication and delivery practices are improved.
Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve our service. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust and ensure that any future orders you place with us are fulfilled to the high standard you expect and deserve.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and we look forward to speaking with you soon.
Kind regards, BullionByPost
