I'm all but done with this app. They chose to award points for games - that was THEIR choice. Due to a break in the system somewhere, the app only recognized that I completed the first 2 tasks, rewarding me with a total of 1,064 points out of a total of 17,176 points. I've completed ALL tasks & SHOULD be entitled to 17,176 points. Out of the 1,064 points I was awarded as intended, through the app, customer service awarded me 16,519 for a grand total of 17,******* less than I'm due if their chosen game system worked properly. That's over 7.5 scanned receipts worth of points, so yeah, I'm beyond disgusted I have been told by customer service that it's not their problem there is a glitch in the new system & they can't award me any more points for this game because they've already awarded over 15k & I need to just choose another game. Ok - & what if that one ALSO doesn't work correctly? We're all just supposed to be told, "too bad, so sad OUR system doesn't work. Better luck next time!"?! Crap service!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t bother trying for extra points through games. If you do & it doesn’t work, don’t expect to get all the points you’re entitled to from customer service.

I ordered a 2 in 1 flatiron/curling iron on October 3rd, which I received on November 3rd. The first issue I had was that my card was charged $8.49 more than my order confirmation said I would be charged. It indicated it was "Tax". Certainly not my tax rate of 7%, so I sent an email and was notified it was a system error and that portion was refunded. I wonder how much they make off this error from people that never say anything about it.

It arrived with a scratched plate, for one. Second, although it is supposed to heat to 460 degrees Farenheight, it did not heat up close to that. In sending an email to the company, they asked for a video. No video showing the process was small enough to send, so I settled for a video showing it reading as fully heated and with a meat thermometer reading the plate at around 255 degrees Farenheight. All they said was that their records show I received the correct item, which was not my complaint. For almost $34, I expected it to work as described.

I filed a case through PayPal and I was again asked to send all of these photos, including of the shipping labels. Luckily, I had all of these, but I can't imagine how many people toss them immediately. They also got the video and they again said I got the correct item and then offered me $7 to keep it. I explained that I wasn't going to pay $27 for them to send me their garbage across the ocean so I could then also pay my garbage man to dispose of it. I couldn't use it, I don't want it, and I don't expect to pay for it.

From the beginning, I indicated I was more than happy to send it back, but I would NOT pay to do so; they could have it back if they sent a prepaid label. Their final offer was that they would issue a full refund, but only after receiving the item back, with me paying the cost of shipping. I threw an absolute fit with PayPal and they agreed to cover the cost of shipping (about $29, by the way, so I would have gotten $5 back after sending their garbage BACK to them and still paid $29 for the "privilege" of doing so).

The item is on its way back and PayPal has refunded my shipping costs and they said they are also investigating the company because I don't feel a company like this should be allowed to use that platform.

Tip for consumers:
Be fully prepared to be offered a few bucks to keep the garbage or pay more than the product is worth to send it back. Also, keep an eye out for extra charges to be added on after you send payment information.

I've placed exactly three orders with Temu.com, all of which I placed on my computer, by typing the site name into the web address bar, and activating Rakuten cash back before adding items and purchasing. All three orders, I had to reach out multiple times to get my cash back. I reached out to Temu directly and they told me to reach out to Rakuten, which I have also done. I finally received cash back for 2 of the 3 orders, but I am still fighting for the cash back for my order placed on 10/14/2023, WEEKS ago. Several times, Rakuten has updated to state Temu has not provided cash back for the order. I've already notified Temu I will not shop with them anymore for this reason. Do not state you will provide cash back if you don't plan to honor that - keeping your word is a huge thing with me and I will not purchase repeatedly from a company that will not keep its word. I've unsubscribed from emails and texts and put in ANOTHER request with Rakuten to find out why I'm not getting cash back, but this site is a joke for that reason, which is sad because most of the items were actually ok, except the shoes were small in size and I'm not sure I will be able to wear them.

Tip for consumers:
Don't expect them to honor the Rakuten cash back without a fight.

On July 14th, I purchased coasters that were made in the shape of guitar picks from what I thought was the official store. After the order was placed, I received an email that there may be an exchange rate as well as a border cross fee, which I was not happy about - I paid over $41 for these coasters at this point. Several weeks later, the package was still showing as just received by the USPS after entering the country, with no movement. I emailed on 8/14 to find out why it had not moved in several weeks and they said they would resend the item. They never sent me the new tracking number, as I had asked them to do and when I received a small package last week, I had no idea what it could be. Upon opening, I received Taylor Swift Guitar Picks... NOT coasters. I have emailed multiple times now to get this corrected and they have stopped responding to emails altogether, although their refund policy states they will resolve within 24 hours, and it has now been over 48 hours since my first email that is still unacknowledged. They also say they automatically issue a refund on any orders received after 45 business days. If I were to count US business days, that means that to be within 45 days, I would have to receive the product by the 12th of September. I just want what I ordered or a refund at this point and I doubt I will get the product since I cannot even find it on their site anymore. I can only find one set of guitar picks, and that set is not even what I received. The set of 10 guitar picks for Eras Tour is $25. The ones I got are dated 2015 and there are only 6, so I basically got something worth HALF of what I paid, if that. I am so upset that I even purchased anything at all from this company. I should have realized this is not the official store and there are apparently several of them in existence. They indicate they are open Monday through Friday from 9-6, but do not indicate the time zone. The responses I previously received were usually late at night or in the middle of the night, so these are not US hours and, again, they have now stopped responding altogether, since I emailed Tuesday (part of Monday through Friday) around 5 pm my time and it is now Thursday (today and yesterday are also included in Monday through Friday) and I have not gotten any response.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use this site, as you are not likely to receive your order.

I purchased a Nestl deep pocket sheet set from Overstock in 2021 and loved them. They fit super well, were soft, never moved or slipped off, and had this feature I LOVED where the straps that help hold the fitted sheet on are 2 different colors (black for one end of the bed and white for the other) so you can easily get the sheet on correctly on the first try. The only thing that I didn't love was the color, which was more orange than red, so I finally decided to order a new set from the same link to ensure I got the same exact sheets, only in a different color.

The sheets were $52.99, but I got a coupon that brought them down to $39.74 before tax. It was a bit odd when I received the sheets because my favorite feature (the black and white straps) were no more. I compared the new set to the old set and also found that while the old set had the Nestl logo on all the tags, the new set had no logo or brand name whatsoever. I searched for a contact number or email to contact Overstock, but all they list is a number to text, which I did. An hour and a half passed from the time that the text said I would be sent to a live representative and when someone presumably responded and I had fallen asleep during that time, so the request timed out. It did, however, finally give me an email address as well as a phone number. I tried the email first, on 4/24, so I could include the photos that showed the differences. I also emailed Nestl to ask if they had removed these features from their sheets.

Nestl responded first, on 5/3, and indicated there had been no product changes from 2021 through today and to reach out to the seller directly. As of today, 5/5, I still had not gotten a response from Overstock, so I sent a follow-up email before remembering that a number had also been provided, so I reached out that way. The rep indicated that he could tell it was the same product because they had gotten it from the same 3rd party manufacturer, Sanders Collection. First I told him that it made no sense to me why they would order a Nestl profuct from anyone other than Nestl and then I looked up Sanders Collection while on the call. They are a bedding company in NY and they have 5 brands listed on their website that they sell, none of which are Nestl. He gave me a contact number with an 847 area code, which matched where Sanders Collection is located in NY. For comparison, however, I also looked up Nestl while on the call and it gets a bit more interesting. The contact number he gave me for Sanders Collection matches Nestl almost exactly, with the only difference being the 1st two digits in the center section of the number are transposed, while only the area code matches Sanders Collection. Now, out of further curiosity, I tried to go through the process of ordering the exact same sheets I had just purchased from Overstock and got quite a surprise: the sheet set, when bought directly from Nestl, is only $29.50 with no discount applied.

The Overstock rep started to squirm a bit and first indicated that they probably charge shipping that would make it about the same. No, they do not charge anything for shipping. Then he indicated that the 3rd party manufacturer most likely marks up the product price a bit for profit (which is why it makes no sense that they would involve a 3rd party). When I pointed out that they are supposed to be a discount site that sells items for LESS and I purchased an item at a 44% markup instead, he offered me a refund. Since it's taken me so long to get a hold of anyone there, I've now had the sheets 2.5 weeks and they're on my bed. I don't even have the package anymore. So then he offered me a coupon on a future order. I told him not to bother because now that I know how much they actually markup the items they are selling at a supposed "discount", I will never shop there again.

I highly recommend trying to price check any item you may be looking at on Overstock directly on the manufacturer's website, as the price will probably be significantly less. Also, I'm fairly certain, based on the tags on these new sheets, combined with the information Nestl provided, and now finally comparing the detail on the pillowcases in the set sold on Nestl compared to the set I got from Overstock, that I also got a fake item at a 44% markup, so I imagine most of their other items are not the real deal as well.

I've ordered the sheets again, this time from Nestl (where I wasn't even charged tax, so $29.50 is all I paid). I bet I find their logo on these sheets.

UPDATE:
I received my sheets ordered directly from Nestl for much cheaper than Overstock and guess what - the logo is on all the tags and the straps are black and white. Overstock is selling a fraudulent product at a vastly inflated price. I've filed a complaint with the BBB. I want my money back. I'll even return the sheets to them if they send me the package and label to do it. I wouldn't have tossed it had it not taken weeks to get in touch with someone. Photos of new Nestl sheets added to show what the genuine article still looks like (same as 2 years ago, but a different color only because I ordered a different color).

UPDATE 2: Got an email response from Overstock Executive Offices on May 19th that they are refunding my full purchase with no need to return the sheets and they are reaching out to the merchant to clear this up and the listing will be removed in the interim. Out of curiosity, I just pulled up the link. The link is still open (listed as Nestl sheets), and their full price is $51.99, although they are on sale for Memorial Day for $34.49 before tax... Still over the $29.50 final price I paid for the genuine article with no discounts applied. They clearly have no plans to change their ways.

Tip for consumers:
Don't expect to get the brand you are being advertised and expect to pay more than if you simply bought the genuine product for the actual manufacturer.

I ended up using the sheets because I could not get a hold of anyone at the company for 2.5 weeks, but I have now ordered the set directly from the manufacturer. When I received that product, it had all the previous features that I ordered for, including the logo on the tags, proving Overstock is not selling a genuine article.

I've filed with the BBB to request a refund for selling a fraudulent product. I am willing to send the sheets back if they send me the package and label to do so. They're frauds.

On December 17th, I was attempting to renew my passport on the travel.gov site electronically. I thought I clicked the correct button and it said I had to enter my card information to pay the fee before it brought up the application and I filled it in and was looking for the "submit" button, which I could not find. It told me to print and mail the form, but I wanted to submit electronically. I exited out and emailed travel.gov asking why that happened and if I could still renew online. I never got a response, so I tried again on the 26th, and was successful. My card was charged the $130. On December 31st, I noticed an additional $90 passport charge. I repeatedly called travel.gov and they couldn't determine what it was as none of their fees are $90. While on the phone with them on the 10th, I took a closer look at the charge, which said USPassport Online and had a phone number listed and a FL zip. I told travel.gov I was going to call. Upon calling, an automated message tells you that you must email them through their site, which I did. I have no idea how I even got on their site and all information I provided was because I thought it was a trusted government site. Now they're saying I agreed to be charged for them to assist with reviewing my application for errors and submitting. I never finished the application or sent to them, although they still have it, with my SSN and all. I requested they provide me the signed terms and conditions as well as something stating what product was received by me for $90, which they did not do because they never sent it to me. I never received anything from them. They said they would refund the charge yesterday morning, but they never did, so I've disputed with my card. In searching their web site for this information, I found the terms and conditions buried on a separate page. They state that they aim to process applications within 36 hours (which they didn't do) and they say for the $90, the applicant gets the following benefits: "Confirmation of Application" (which I never got because I never submitted it), "Admission and Error Checks On Application" (which I also never got because I never submitted), and others, which include "Reimbursement For Declined Passport Applications Packs". They also have many concerning liability waivers and disclosures that they are claiming are in accordance with US laws, but I have my doubts. Although they have all of your personal information, they are freeing themselves from any liability related to loss or damage arising from the use of their site or information and users should use the site "at their own risk." They also go back on their previous guarantee by stating that they "provide no warranties (express or implied) of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of information, compatibility and satisfactory quality." They expressly say that part of what you get for the $90 spent is for them to review your application for accuracy to the point that they will refund you the cost of the application if it is denied and this previous statement completely negates that. Not only is this site clearly fraudulent, but I feel they are dangerous. They have my full name, address, DOB, SSN, and credit card information now and they are telling me via their terms and conditions that they cannot give me peace of mind that information is secure whatsoever. And I'd love to know how I got to their site. If there is some link on travel.gov, the government needs to remove it.

Stay far, far away. Their disclaimers are ridiculous and I definitely plan on getting back in touch with state.gov to notify them because I WAS on their site, which is why I emailed them directly to ask why it tried to print my application when I wanted to renew online. Something is wrong somewhere.

Adding comment to update:
On March 24th of this year, my SSN, DOB, name, address, and all other information was used to apply for a Bank of America card. I haven't been on any other suspicious sites. I'm pretty sure these people mine data and sell it. If you look into their site more deeply and pull the specs for it, they use a program called smartlook that records the screen activity of everyone that uses the site without notifying them they are doing this. You can verify this by opening their site in Chrome, selecting the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner, and selecting "More Tools>Developer Tools". A window will open on the right and when you have the "Network" tab highlighted at the top, refresh the screen and much more info will populate. If you scroll down under the "Name" column to click "website", you will see the following request URL: "https://manager.eu.smartlook.cloud/rec/setup-recording/website". You can then Google "what does smartlook do?" and you can select the question "does smartlook record the screen?" The response is as follows: "Smartlook uses always-on recording - meaning that every single user visit is recorded. Their website indicates that these sessions can be replayed. I'm certain this is how they got my data to recreate a form I never submitted. Please be vigilant. I at least got my credit card to reverse the charges, but they're taking much more than your $90 - they're taking all of your personal data. I had to freeze all of my credit and I'm fighting with Bank of America to obtain a copy of the application so I can file a police report. I've filed complaints with every government office I can think of, including the FTC and have not gotten a response. These people are true thieves.

EDITED TO ADD: PLEASE NOTE THAT SITEJABBER LISTS THIS SITE AS CLOSED - THAT IS INCORRECT. THE LINK PROVIDED IS WRONG. USPASSPORT.ONLINE IS STILL VERY MUCH IN SERVICE AND PULLING THEIR USUAL SHENANIGANS.

Tip for consumers:
Just don't. If you are trying to complete a passport application and find yourself here, leave IMMEDIATELY.

Products used:
I ended up trying State.gov again 9 days later and successfully completed my online renewal application and was charged correctly. I didn't know until the $90 charge posted on the 31st that there was a problem and I called travel.gov TWICE to ask why they charged me an additional $90 before finally calling the number listed directly on the charge and that is the only way I found this company.

I've always preferred to write a check & mail my payments. I still pay some of my bills this way. On 9/30/22,3 checks were picked up from my home. One payment was due one state over, one was within my same town & was not due until 10/10/22, & my mortgage payment was going to TX from here in IN & had the longest before the due date - it wasn't due until the 15th. The check going just to the next state was cashed on the 4th. The check that was only going across town was not cashed until the 12th, 2 days late. When I asked how a check could get lost for so long within my own town, I was told that she didn't know because she didn't know what sorting facility it would have been processed through. Wouldn't mail generally always be sent to the same sorting facility to start?! I would imagine mail staying within the same town would get sorted & sent right back, if anything & the post office worker should know which facility our town mail goes through. In fact, I just googled my question & it states that each post office is served by a mail processing plant, so she knew where it went, but didn't care enough to try to track it down. Lazy! My mortgage check is missing &, again, she has no idea which facility to even call to track it down. My first request to locate was on the 12th & I was called by a worker on the 14th who said they were going to call the carrier & call me back. I never got a call back. I had to make a mobile mortgage payment to avoid late fees & be prepared to also have my check covered in case they received that & also cashed that as well. The next week, I sent a follow up email asking for an update because I never got that promised call back. No response. So I went online & put in a second inquiry. No clue where my mail could be & no idea which sorting facility it would have gone to. She did tell me that I should drive to the post office & pay the extra $3 per check to get a tracking number so she would know where to look. You should get much better quality service than this for First Class Mail without paying additional - we're far from the Pony Express days here. I'm reading reviews, I'm seeing that all a tracking number allows you to do is know where your lost mail is while the post office doesn't bother to do anything about it. Sounds like a scam & a waste of money to me. Looks like I'm going to end of having to pay a $35 stop pay fee. I really didn't want to convert, but I'm honestly considering making my payment online & no longer using the USPS going forward. I liked the idea of reserving the right to pay however I wanted, but this is ridiculous & I thought that before I read all of these other complaints. It sounds like these people don't deserve the salaries they're paid so maybe we should all stop using the USPS & they can all get jobs closer to the amount of work they're actually willing to do instead of getting government salary & benefits.

Tip for consumers:
Pay virtually or send a different way. Boycott USPS

Signed up last night. Most of the men on here are in their 60s-70s. I messaged a couple of guys with no response at all. Very few matches. I tried this morning to get a refund (which is shown as an option) since I just have a bad feeling about it & I was on Ambien when I signed up, which sometimes makes me do impulsive things. The refund button was just spinning, so I tried to find customer service, which was a nightmare. It takes you in circles without providing the information. I finally found it, although idk how, & requested a refund. I'm hoping since it's been less than 12 hours, they'll do it. Plus, I'm reading so many stories here about people getting charged for other dating sites or even being charged again after they canceled. I wish I had never signed up!

Tip for consumers:
