I will state it plainly here for anyone needing to know this info up front. Throughout the entire checkout process, you are not alerted to their policy that if you buy ANY electrical part or electrical component, that it is not eligible for a refund or return. Their site is littered with very generic diagrams of specific components/parts and despite your vehicle being compatible via the vin check-for-fit process, you may need a specific variation of one of those parts, which they don't have the actual pictures for. In the event that you don't have the correct part number, I tried to do my due diligence on this and apparently this part is just hard to find pics of online that have a part number listed, you could end up with the wrong part. My part arrived quickly, which was great, but the part was wrong. The boxes and part were all opened carefully and with the exception for the tape of the actual part box being cut, everything is in the condition it arrived. They require you to send pics of everything (boxes and the part) in order to start the RMA request (which is how refunds or returns are processed).
You then have to go through their RMA procedure to request a return/refund and it was only when I received a rejection email that now they want to list all of the helpful info and links that should be front and center prior to even going through with the purchase. This is extremely shady and I'll never buy a part from them again. After speaking with the rep for the RMA department, they stated that all they could do is reach out to the "dealer"/supplier of the part and see if they will take it back and I'll receive a follow-up email with their decision. We all know that they will 100% NOT accept the return since they already have my money and after I pressed the rep for GM Parts Prime what am I supposed to do with a part that is incorrect and can't return or get a refund on, she stated that I could maybe sell it on Ebay or a site called OfferUp. This is seriously the worst and only experience like this I've ever had buying parts online and was my first and last with them.
