On May 9th 2022 I ordered matching bed quilt sets for my two bedrooms for a total of 601 Euro.
I received part of this order in May and another part in June.
To date: October 5th 2022 I have only received 2 of the 6 quilts, and 4 of the 12 cushion covers.
I wrote to the company every 4 weeks over the past 6 months and was repeatedly told the items would arrive, that there were supply chain issues.
On October 4th after threatening legal action I was advised I would be refunded for the missing items. I explained this was no use – I needed to return the items I had as the quilt sets were not complete and no use to me like this.
I was told this was not possible. So in effect I have lost 225 euros as I can not use the partial bed
Linen set.
I acted in good-faith, waited more than 6 months whilst they were advising the items would be delivered. Now I learn they will not.
I would strongly advise customers to avoid purchasing anything from La Redoute,
I wasted months waiting and hours writing to these people – and was treated totally unfairly.
