I've used Fitturf for several years and had been satisfied until last year.
I've always paid a year in advance for their services.
They only give the day before notice when showing up. I requested repeatedly for at least a three day window and was told that's not possible.
On two occasions last year I informed them we wouldn't be available at the time they set. Both times the notice was ignored, it was difficult to reschedule.
Last year we received a hand written note that the back yard couldn't receive treatment because of dogs. I was in the back yard working and no one tried to enter (a contractor working in house will verify).
I called last December and was told someone would contact me to iron things out - that never occurred
This years bill included tree booster injections for a cost of $342.43. The same injections were given last year. All information I've looked at says this procedure should only be done every second to third year (Fitturf's tree experts told me the same thing several years ago).
When I call the staff is not cordial and usually have excuses.
I cancelled my account - didn't matter to he person I was talking to.

We used Home Advisor to find a business to put up two gates in our back yard. The business (Rob's Fab) gave us a bid (which we accepted). After paying for both gates we discovered neither gate was working properly. We repeatedly tried to contact the gate installer, finally after several weeks he showed up, promised to return the following week and make the necessary repairs. He never returned. We contacted Home Advisor for help. They basically said it was our responsibility to find some one else to give a bid on the correcting the problem. It would seem like they could have provided some names - but they didn't. After getting a bid to repair the mistakes I turned that bid into Home Advisor. After several weeks Home Advisor told us there was nothing they could do, we would have to pay for the repairs.
I said their television ad said satisfaction guaranteed. I was told that we didn't use the proper app (there was nothing about that in the add) and tough luck. We believe HomeAdvisor has a responsibility to get the gates repaired. We are on a fixed income and can't afford to repay to have the job done properly.
I can't recommend Home Advisor to anyone. They vetted and recommended Rob's Fab but refuse any responsibility. DON'T USE THEM!
