I have been visiting CPK Brentwood for many years. I recently suffered a terrible experience at CPK Brentwood. I entered a near-empty restaurant Saturday evening, hoping to eat at the bar. No one bothered to set the table, offer me a glass of water or provide me with a menu. I waited over 20 minutes, twice asking the gentlemen handling takeout if I could order. Twice he pointed to the hostess by the door, said she would have to take the order. Twice this gentlemen asked the young lady at the door if she could help out. She looked at her colleague, looked at me and turned her back. When finally I asked this young lady myself if she could take my order, she refused even to answer me, prompting her colleagues assisting people on the terrace to mention to her that a customer (me) needed assistance. This young woman couldn't have cared less. When I walked out, and mentioned to her that her service was atrocious, she made a snarky comment to me.
Unfortunately, customer service at Brentwood CPK has become increasingly "spotty." And I get that this young lady isn't from Brentwood or the Westside, and I get that she might harbor some anger toward the type of customers that predominate at Brentwood CPK. But, Holy Cow, no customer should ever be treated rudely and certainly not like this.
