I bought a coffee pot that was defective, leaked water. Box was damaged and the store representative told me to keep the receipt. I tried to return it to a different store because I was traveling and was no longer in the area where I purchased it. Went to a local store in Florida and they said they couldn't return it as there was a barcode on the receipt and not a QR Code. Representative said I have to find a store which had the old system for scanning. Rediculous! This is a nation wide chain how is it not returnable at any location? How am I supposed to know which stores are running old software? I believe the receipt says I have 14 days to return it with a receipt. How stupid is this. I guess the CEO needed his Millions and couldn't upgrade all the stores computers. They will not get my business any more. Pathetic.
