I wish there were a no star option. Unfortunately we had a trailer built by these muppets. We asked for a 10×5 garden trailer and received a 10×4.2. When purchasing a 10×5 trailer you expect to get that in "internal space". Consumer affairs and multiple other Trailer companies backed this. When approaching "Basic" Trailers about this measurement issue and telling them this trailer is no good to us, they washed their hands of it and said there was nothing they could do. No refund, no fixing the problem, nothing! We spoke with Malcom the manager who was arrogant and unprofessional, even lying to our faces making up stories saying he showed us through the yard and measured up other Trailers. A complete lie! Which infruiated us. We never went through any trailer measurements, only the mower box measurements. Which by the way you flogged us an extra $500 to reduce the size.

The paint work was rushed and unexceptable. They said "we can give you a can of paint to take home. Not the sort of response you'd expect after paying $13,000 for a trailer. Shelving was also not measured properly and tie down points were missed. We were forced to sell the trailer at a massive loss.

You should not be allowed to get away this sort of mistreatment! And i hope my review helps other people avoid your company and fall for your traps. I have no doubt that your response to this review will also be lies and utter crap just like the trailer you built for us.
