"DO NOT BUY FROM BACKSTREET SHOES! Worst customer service ever! I ordered these shoes on December 7th and still have not received them. They are still sitting at USPS because of shipping method seller chose!" They emailed me telling me how rude I was when I was not. They still will not admit they shipped them wrong. The shoes are not lost as they keep saying but sitting at the USPS in bulk mail after I paid for 3-5 day shipping!
This customer paid for STANDARD shipping and it was delivered late. We refunded the customer and she received the shoes a few days later. It was DECEMBER and our carrier did not meet their delivery commitment because of the Christmas rush and she is not the only online customer who has ever had this issue. It is a common problem during the holidays and this can happen with ANY carrier. We apologized and asked her to be patient, but she was unreasonable. She is blaming our customer service for a delayed package. She easily could have paid for 2 or 3 day shipping with a guaranteed delivery date, but she chose standard shipping. With standard shipping, there is an expectation, but no guarantee. We were sorry then and are sorry now that your shoes did not arrive within our expected delivery window.
