I brought my 2014 Jeep Unlimited to Pit Road Automotive. They replaced my radiator, a couple of hoses and the thermostat. Dave said she should be good to go. I took my Jeep to Phoenix to pick my 89 yo mom up at the airport 3 days later. It overheated going DOWN the Mogollon ridge. I drove slow so as not to put her out of commission and stopped at the first automotive store in Mesa. I bought coolant but the coolant wasn't low. I picked up mom and we drove home windows down in the heat at 40 miles an hour. I took it back to Pit Road and they said "It's a PCM issue" and Dave advised I take it to "Mike" at the Jeep dealer as they are the only ones on the mountain that can do those updates. Oh, and that's were he takes his Dodges.

So, I took it to the Jeep dealer where it has been sitting for 5 weeks. I was told it was the radiator and the PCM updates were done. Then I needed new head gaskets (which Pit Road said were fine). I went back to Pit Road and Dave said to bring him the radiator and he would refund the money for the radiator. I returned to Jeep and Mike said they obviously didn't do a good job. He also advised they threw the radiator out a couple of weeks ago. I went back to Pit Road (again) and told Dave told what Mike said. Dave played a phone recording in which Mike told him there was nothing wrong with the radiator and that I insisted he replace it so he did. WOW

So I went back to Jeep and spoke with a different Dave, the service manager. Mike said he made an error and that Josh, the technician, said it did need replacing. I was given a radiator that I took back to Pit Road. It was damaged from being in the scrap bin. Dave at Pit Road said it isn't the same radiator and it was too damaged, called the supplier who said they would not take the radiator damaged and therefore Dave could not help me. He didn't know who was telling the truth and therefore he was out.

I called Dave the service manager at Jeep and left a VM. I received a VM back advising to call Dave at Pit Road because they talked. So, this morning I called Pit Road and spoke to Dave again. He had the same story. I paid $989.52 for absolutely nothing but a headache and to be called a liar.

My Jeep has been maintained by an ASE certified mechanic and instructor who took Morana's Automotive Class to win the Championship several times. https://www.tucsonlocalmedia.com/news/article_*******b4c-e56d-11e5-80cf-a38b3f0cf6a2.html
I walked into Pit Road on the first day and said I need a new radiator. I was told "we do our own diagnostics". Run away. This shop will call you a liar, install bad products they won't stand behind and then blame the people they sent you to. Bad business.
