I was supposed to get free shipping and was charged.
When I received the item the boxes were smashed from shipping them in a bag. When I removed the contents, I noticed not everything was there. It was very suspicious, just a foam mat with a plastic electric thing that you snap on, a cord and a remote. I plugged it in and turned it on inside the bag and felt with my hand, nothing. They don't work.
I called customer service and was on hold for a half an hour. I finally got someone and was told that due to hygiene reasons, there is no refund. I told him they are not used and I have a 90 day guarantee to return them. He said no, it's not going to happen. We argued for a while I mentioned BBB and Paypal, I was told to do what I want, I'm not getting a refund. I found they have 3 names and websites. They are vague on contact with a false New York, NY address. They are overseas and Chino, CA. So it's a scam.

Returns & finding a living person is a frustrating challenge. On top of a 3 day conversation with multiple lost people is insufferable. All this just to ask for the address I return this return to. I still have not received the answer.
I have to return an item. It is excruciatingly painful.
After you process your return online it takes you straight to a page for exchanges. You don't get any information on where to send it back, not even an email.
For customer service, there are only bots on facebook messenger or on their website to talk to. No phone number, no email, no real person. And once you finally get a real person and you respond back, you get a different person who has not read up on the conversation and instead of giving the answer they give you the link back to the website to process the return, which I had already done. I have been dealing with this for 3 days.
I feel that shapermint is making it difficult for returns on purpose. With the run around it seems to be a scam in order to not have to return your money and they have lost a customer.
