I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS ABOUT THIS COMPANY FIRST BEFORE I DECIDED TO TAKE MY CAR HERE for a SIMPLE TUNE UP and fuel injection. HOWEVER, I didn't, and I AM EXTREMELY REGRETFUL THAT I DIDN'T.

This company took advantage of the fact that my car is under warranty. THEY DIAGNOSED ANY AND EVERYTHING THAT THEY COULD FIND WRONG JUST TO BILL MY INSURANCE COMPANY INSANELY! Although I brought it in with specific concerns that I wanted to have repaired, they persuaded me to have these things done. However, the trouble began from day one when I brought my car in early, taking care to not only leave a note with my key in a large white envelope and dropped it in their door slot for the next day, which was my appointment date. Long story, short I called them a week later to see how my car was coming along because I hadn't heard anything from anyone in a week only to find out that my CAR had been MISPLACED, RATHER OVERLOOKED FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK!.

Apparently, someone at their office picked up my envelope and then did not log it into their system so the entire week was lost in which this week was purposely chosen because it made it where we would not miss our secondary vehicle because we were off on vacation. So, it was extremely inconvenient to have lost that week. But, on top of that, IT TOOK an ADDITIONAL 4 WEEKS! To go through the approval process with my warranty company as well as getting in ONE SINGLE PART!, which were coils for my tune-up. These parts were locally available However, I was told that they needed to be delivered from out of state costing three times the amount of coils locally sold!. These "Special" coils were charged to my bill INDIVIDUALLY at $110 PER COIL! Rather than as a set as these coils are commonly sold and available to be bought in a SET!

You would think that this would have been the end of my troubles once the coil came in and all the repairs were done However, to my horror when I went to pick up my car I found out that the original amount that I approved to pay out of pocket of $730 had now increased to $1,200! The only reason why I allowed my car to remain at this shop to begin with after their gigantic mistake of misplacing my car as well as overcharging my insurance company was because they were going to fix additional things that were covered by my warranty. I was told that the reason for these additional charges was because my insurance company only covered a certain amount for labor ($100) an hour which seemed perfectly reasonable However, there charge for labor cost was $145 an hour and that I was responsible for every dollar over what my insurance company didn't cover.

Now, this is something that I have done in the past but it was handled as it should be, by informing the customer ahead of time that this is what would be owed as well as getting my approval but, none of this professional courtesy was given by Pro Touch. They insisted after the fact that this was known and approved by my husband, who was just being a good husband by calling in every other day to check on my car. But, he never told them that this was okay with us, but Stephanie at Pro Touch was adamant that my husband had agreed on these additional labor charges. My issue with this is that the car was brought in by ME The account is in MY NAME, and my phone number is clearly on the contract. At any time in which, there had been communications between me and Stephanie on other occasions in which I declined other services. So, I felt there should have been no excuse for why she would not have continued to try to reach out to me and get MY approval for the labor charges.

This nightmare all ended after I broke down and PAID THE ENTIRE BILL!. Although I was supposed to receive some type of INCONVENIENCE DISCOUNT for Pro Touch unprofessionally overlooking my vehicle for a week!, this was NOT reflected on the bill. In addition to this, after I got home and had a chance to look over my invoice and receipt, I discovered that I had been OVERCHARGED for at least $100! But, I'm suspecting it is more than that. So, I'm writing this review today on a Sunday and I have not informed them of this oversight but I will be reaching out to them tomorrow morning in hopes that I will be refunded the overage and I can move on with my life after the PRICE GOUGING, UNPROFESSIONAL, CUSTOMER BLAMING experience I had with Pro Touch, never to see this shop again.
