This website looks a little bit like the IRS's site (blue/grey) and can fool you into thinking they are legitimate. They ask similar questions that the IRS does, and will take your Social Security number as well. However, once they you submit your personal information to them, they ask you to pay $250. That was when I realized that I wasn't on the IRS website at all. EIN are free and you can obtain one in a matter of minutes through the IRS here:

I have reported this website to Google as well as the FTC since they don't provide any company or contact info. They will take your social and the rest of your personal data and use it for fraudulent purposes. If you have given them your social security number, I strongly recommend that you set up an account with all three credit agencies and get put a free fraud alert on your credit report as well as a free credit freeze (which you can undo when you need to supply credit info).
