I know how it is to deal with the USPS. I also know that though the covid slowed shipping down a little bit, it was never as bad for my shipping as some companies are making it out to be and using as an excuse for bad service. I ship to all 48 continental states and never had a priority mail package that took more then 5 days to deliver. I know that the USPS will do everything in their power to find missing packages if the sender will make a simple phone call and start a missing mail case.

Oh, wow, I wish I would have checked this company out here before we made our last order. We somehow had a previous order that went alright so I thought it would be okay to order from them again. I was wrong.

We ordered a windshield for our Harley on Jan 21 and got a confirmation on shipping that same day with a tracking number and expected delivery date of Jan 25. Okay that sounded reasonable so we waited.

Yesterday was Jan 25 and the package did not deliver but we thought okay give it another day. We had been busy and didn't check the tracking. Today is the 26th and no delivery so I tracked it with the USPS number and it showed that the package had never been scanned as being picked up at all.

So we called customer service to find out where is our missing package and a rude female tried to tell us that it is not the company's problem but that we would have to call the post office. That she could not file a missing mail case before 15 days had passed. Then when we asked to speak to her boss she said he would call us back and actually hung up on me.

Sorry but I am a seller also and I deal with this exact same thing sometimes for my own customers. I have filed missing package reports with the PO within 3 days and they have always helped me find them. It takes a simple phone call and it cannot be the recipient calling, it has to be the sender.

The only good thing about this ordeal is that the supervisor did actually call back and spoke to my husband. He was not rude and said he would get it investigated and if it wasn't scanned and moving through the postal system within 3 days he would reship.

So now we wait to see if that is really true. After reading some of the reviews here I am still having doubts. I will update with what happens in 3 days.

As of right now, I do not recommend this company.

Tip for consumers:
This company has the worst and most rude customer service reps I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She had attitude and was yellling, talking over us, unhelpful, making excuses why our lost package is our problem and not theirs and then she hung up on me. Avoid this company like the plague.

If I could I would give zero stars for J&P Cycles. On July 28th I ordered a $200 battery from them online and had problems right from the start. First the website never emailed an order confirmation and the order did not show up on my online account. After I had a live chat with them the posted my order to the site and 2 days later it shipped. I was following tracking which should have delivered to me 2 days after that and it said out for delivery... but then it never delivered then tracking said the item was rejected and being returned to sender. So I called and spoke with a rep named Laura and her boss Joe. They told me it would be shipped out again and be at least 4 more days. I said I wanted a refund. They said that would take 14 days. I said no! I want a refund now, since they had my money from the first day I ordered but I had no battery. Finally the boss named Joe was able to promise to refund me in the next 2 days and he did. So that should be the end of the story but it's not... We decided to give them one more chance since they use to be such a great place to deal with years ago. We reordered another battery and battery keeper on Aug. 6th. It said "ships within 1 business day."

Again I got no order confirmation or reciept... it was a weekend so I did a live chat to make sure it would really ship soon, the agent was snippy but did confirm it was in stock and would ship on Monday (today) so I waited until today to check the order and the website was not showing it at all. I called and spoke with another lady named Jazz who told me the order must have been in limbo and would show on the website in my account as being ordered today and then would ship as if I ordered it today. Well I did not order it today... it was supposed to ship today because I ordered it 3 days ago. I did another live chat... that agent said they have no access to expedite shipping. I have left two messages for the boss Joe to call me so we can get this straight.

I want to say we never should have given them a 2nd chance, and we will never order from this company again. They have totally gone down the toilet from the great place they used to be just 4 short years ago.

BEWARE! Buy from somewhere else. It is not worth the hassle!

So I am still waiting to see if Joe calls me back, or if this order ships out soon. Will update after we find out. See in my photo the date that I recieved the email saying my order was processed was Aug 6th, I emailed that webpage to myself because I knew the last order never sent me a confirmation email. When I clicked on the link to see my order history today... it was not even showing this order at all.

Okay this is an update to be fair. Even though I got no call back from the boss Joe this time, someone did expedite the shipping and amazingly the second order did deliver today. So after a lot of riding them you can get them to make things right. Frankly I don't want to have to go through all of this stress just to get a company to give good service, so I still more than likely will not buy from them again and would not recommend them to my friends. But at least they did make it right this time.

Shop somewhere else.

In June 2020 I ordered a $300 pair of boots from this site. Their shipping policy states that they ship orders within 2 business days. I got an order confirmation email but no other communications at all. On the 4th day I called them to find out if my order was going to ship soon and they claimed that they tried to call and email me to tell me that the boots were on back order until September 2020. I never got a call or an email, not even in my spam folder. I asked for a refund which they did issue via PayPal. I feel like the only reason the refund was so easy to get was because I did pay with PayPal and they knew I could escalate a claim. (The whole reason I always pay unfamiliar sites with PP) Right before I wrote this review I visited the site to see if they have these boots listed as OOS or back order only and they don't. If you were to order some right now you would never know they were not in stock. I would never shop with this site again and do not recommend them to anyone. Pay the extra and shop with a reputable seller.

I want to apologize and express my regret that you had such a bad experience on our website and with our customer service. I also want to explain that we ship most orders directly from the manufacturer and rely on them to keep good stock. Most of the time they do, which is why we are able to ship most retail orders like this within about 2 days. For technical reasons we are unable to indicate backorders on our website. I understand this can be frustrating in situations like this.

Getting back to you: you placed your order at 9:40 pm on June 15. The next morning we attempted to call and email you to advise you of the backorder. We have an email to you timestamped June 16 at 11:44 am. Unfortunately, you did not receive or see this email for some reason. On June 18 you called, we advised you of the status, and you cancelled your order. We issued a prompt refund. I don’t know why you feel the only reason we refunded your money is that we were afraid of a claim, but you are wrong.

If you would like to discuss this further with our customer service supervisor or with me personally, please call. Due to the covid situation, most calls are currently going to voicemail but we are checking our voicemail frequently and returning calls promptly.
